Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actor who is best famous for the fantasy television series Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' te Enamores. As a dancer and model Toubia also has achieved success in both fields. Born in Montreal, she was brought up in Texas. She has always been a performer. She has been training in diverse styles of dance from the time she was a child. At the age 15 she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous when, in 2008 she was competing in Nuestra Belleza Latina season two of Univision's beauty contest. In 2010 she made her acting d but as a receptionist in the Telemundo's television show Aurora. In 2015, she starred in her debut film, the action drama Tattooed Love. The performance of Toubia as Shadowhunter was recognized by The Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as the best actress on TV in Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
