Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actor born on the 17th of October 1992. The majority of her films are produced in Tamil or Telugu however she appears in a few Malayalam ones. The actress was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the actress in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents are filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar & actress Menaka G. Suresh. The career of Keerthy began in the 2000s as a child actor. She returned to the film industry following her study of the field of fashion. She played her first major role on screen in Geethaanjali (2013) which was which was a Malayalam movie. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy's first film outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015), opposite Vikram Prabhu. It didn't do well in the theater. In 2015 she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu in opposition to each other. The films did not do well in cinemas. The busy schedule she had throughout the year meant that she had choose to stay out of movies which she had already started working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to make room for larger projects. This meant that she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo which starred Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film was pushed back in 2015, and there are reports that it would be released in September 2020, with the name of Janakitho Nenu. In 2016, Nenu Sailaja, starring Ram Pothineni, was her debut. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and with actor Vijay. In addition, she was a Tamil actor in the film Paambhu Saattai, and an Telugu actor on Nenu Local.
