The actress, who was a former cover girl is living at Beverly Hills with her dogs Samantha and Olivia (above left). Ann Turkel's ex-husband Richard Harris has passed away after just eight years of marriage and twenty years divorce. She was born in an Jewish middle-class family within Manhattan, Turkel had, by age 16, studied at the same time with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse, and Philip Burton at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Ann was first noticed when she performed at an event for Vogue's fashion in her group. Diana Vreeland ordered Ann to take part in her first Vogue photograph shoot with Richard Avedon within one week. Ann became one of the most sought-after models of all time featuring her cover in top fashion magazines such as Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Two years later, Ann began to appear on international fashion shows modeling successfully throughout Europe as well as Japan for the roles of face of big brands in the cosmetic industry like Max Factor Revlon and Chanel.
