Reese Witherspoon took her career seriously following her first enrollment as a student at Stanford University. At the beginning of her career, she was in roles in movies like Pleasantville as well as Election. But it is Elle Woods' portrayal in Legally Blonde which marked a significant pivotal moment in her career. Witherspoon's role on Walk the Line earned her an Academy Award nomination in 2005. In order to devote her time more to acting she put off her college studies for an year. After that, while in her time at Stanford University, she took one course in English literature before choosing to go back to work. In 2003 she debuted as a feature film with The Invisible Man. In the following years, she has appeared on a variety of TV programs like House of Lies Whitney or Better Call Saul. Film credits comprise The Dictator, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and The Dictator. As well as her acting career, Ms. Williams is a gifted painter, who has shown her work in numerous gallery spaces.
